Still Red

And then he came along…

Rising like a Phoenix from my ashes

And gathered all my Red;

And put together my scattered Red, piece by piece

I bloomed once again…

His sweet whisperings caressed my Red, deeply;

Shaking me to the core, a depth I’ve never felt before

He is me, he is my Red…

Red

I was wearing Red when he broke me,

I was wearing Red when he shred me into tiny pieces,

And even before I could gather myself,

The winds blew, strong and hard,

And scattered my Red like seeds,

To be sowed again, to be shred again…
